Offering advice on a mom-to-mom level, Rescue Moms swoop in to rescue a fellow mom in need of their expertise. They provide knowledge that is encouraging, informative, and most of all, fun! Featuring interior designer Sarah Mordetsky, health coach Diana Marino, and beauty expert Shannon Holmes.

Each week, our experts filter through their online submissions to select a mom in need. They determine specific ways they will each be able to “help her, help herself” by teaching her new skills to make life a bit easier for her and her family. They work on projects that include ways of improving the home, making healthier meals, and finding ways for mom to make time for herself. The Rescue Moms believe in the sisterhood and bond women share as mothers and that is why their ultimate goal is to guide fellow moms into a realm of more sanity!

We're making this series to show the beauty of women supporting each other as moms. Women supporting women? Scandalous! We know. This isn't the type of reality TV where women are putting each other down and being catty. Our reality shows that women are really out to help and support each other. The Rescue Moms are also moms, so we get it. We're here to give assistance where assistance is needed, because every mom can use a helping hand.

In order to help other moms, we need your help and support. Your contribution will assist us in creating our first season, renting gear, feeding cast and crew, purchasing materials for builds, as well as makeup/wardrobe supplies and nutritional support for the featured families.

A selection of donation packages is available for purchase and they come with some pretty cool perks! (All of which will be rewarded after we reach our goal of $50,000.) All donations are appreciated regardless of the amount! Supporting our fundraising efforts on social media is crucial to our campaign as well, so make sure to back us with social currency by liking this campaign on Facebook and Twitter, and by sharing this initiative with your social media community so they can do the same.

We thank you in advance! - The Rescue Moms Team

Sarah M Updated
Sarah Mordetsky - Interior Design/Organization
Sarah feels that the key to a happy and sane household is organization.  Her interior design philosophy focuses on helping moms improve the overall functionality of their homes by using items that are multi-purpose, time saving, durable and fashionable. She also looks for pieces that can be dusted off and repurposed for better use.  She brings wit and a “kids are crazy” attitude to every situation which provides a lot of comic relief.  Sarah is a married mother of 2 girls; ages 5 and 3. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Interior Design and she has worked in the interior design industry for over 7 years.
“We all have moments where we look at our house and say “Well, at least I'm not on hoarders yet.” For me, I am my most stressed when my environment is in chaos and having a little bit of structure there can make all the difference in my day not being as overwhelming. A home should feel comfortable and easy to maintain, it should be a place you want to be with your family. It should also be something that grows and changes as your family grows and changes. I love that I can do that in my profession, and that I can translate it into what I do as a parent as well. To be able to share that with other moms is awesome and if I can prevent just one mom from stepping on a Lego Block, I think I could sleep well at night.” – Sarah Mordetsky
Diana M small
Diana Marino, HC, AADP - Health Coach/Natural Foods Chef
Diana focuses on showing moms how a little planning and a few ingredient changes can lead to eating habits that are healthier for the entire family, and also budget friendly. Her easy to follow recipes are specially designed for each family’s needs. They can be whipped up super quickly, offer easy clean up, and turn into leftovers that freeze beautifully for reuse as a future family meal. Diana is a married mother of one son who is 3 years old. She is certified with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, has her chef’s diploma from the Natural Gourmet Institute, as well as her certification for health coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She has been in the industry for over 7 years.
“I think it's important to share my knowledge with other moms because we need each other! I have learned the most about motherhood from speaking with my sisters, friends, and fellow Rescue Moms. Sharing our real experiences is better than reading it in books sometimes. One of the biggest reasons I enjoy sharing my mom experiences and knowledge is so we feel normal. With obesity, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes creating a health crisis in this country, I feel it’s important to show moms how small changes in the meals we’re making at home, can have a huge impact that leads to an overall healthier lifestyle. Moms go through a lot when it comes to finding the right foods to feed their families and I like to show them that we are all in the same boat when it comes to that. We are all doing the best job we can; supporting each other in our mommy endeavor is vital!” – Diana Marino
Shannon H small
Shannon Holmes - Hair, Makeup, Wardrobe
Shannon specializes in helping moms find more time to focus on themselves. Whether that focus is on hair, makeup, wardrobe, or all of the above, she keeps it simple by incorporating items that are multi-functional and easy to use. She teaches quick and effective ways to spruce up each mom’s wardrobe, as well as quick and easy tips and tricks to enhance their beauty regimens. Shannon is a single mother of 2 girls; ages 17 and 12. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and has been in the industry for 10 years.
“My knowledge is very important for me to share because being a mom, especially a single mom, is hard work. As moms, the first thing we tend to throw out the door is the way we take care of ourselves. It’s so easy to get lost in the fact that you’re a mom so you tell yourself you can no longer look or feel good about anything unless it deals with your child. I want to help other moms remove some of the guilt they may feel for taking some much deserved time for themselves and show them how taking this time can actually help them become better moms.” – Shannon Holmes
Tonya M small
Tonya McCornell - Creator/Executive Producer
With over a decade of experience in the industry, Tonya has spent the last five years producing and developing projects within the world of theater, television, and film. She’s also worked on a number of television shows and commercials for clients that include HGTV, the NFL, and Nikon. In 2014, she co-founded Side of the Road Productions along with producing partner, Sean Dahlberg. As a newly single mother, Tonya came up with the idea for Rescue Moms during a time in her life when she was caring for her terminally ill father, schlepping her kid to her dad's doctor's appointments, feeding the kid crappy food far too often, and pretty much living out of suitcases. She felt like a terrible mother. All of this on top of trying to figure out a work-life balance was a real struggle, but Tonya knew she couldn't be alone in feeling the way she did. We all have those moments and the truth is, sometimes things are still a struggle. But thankfully, with help from The Rescue Moms, Tonya discovered that women supporting each other as moms leads to amazing things happening! She is a native New Yorker and has a daughter who is 6 going on 30.
